Batescrew High Head Valves
In-Line

This is a fully enclosed version of the High Head valve.
It can be supplied flanged, as shown, or with plain spigots for mounting with fabricated gibault rubber ring joiners.
Gibault joiners are made to suit the various sizes.

In-line valves, without flanges, may be welded directly to a pipe.  If this is proposed, please read the  welding notes.
Other mounting arrangements can be provided on request, to suit grouting or other needs.

FLANGES.  The standard Batescrew flange, listed on the following page, is a modified ‘Table D’ flange (AS 2129).  It has the table D Pitch Circle Diameter and number of holes, but flange thickness and bolt diameter are reduced to sizes appropriate for the specified operating heads. Valves fitted with these flanges may therefore be connected to a standard table D flange, using the smaller bolts listed in the table.

Flanges complying with other recognised standards, eg. AS 2129 table A; DIN 2530 CL6; ANSI 125; JIS5; may be supplied, at extra cost.  These would normally be used only when it is necessary to comply with specific regulations.
